Enter the Masterclass 2016 Golden Ticket Competition…

The annual Cyber Security Challenge UK Masterclass competition – which is led by PwC, and supported by the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), the National Crime Agency (NCA) and The Bank of England – promises to be the most ‘immersive’ final ever.

This year marks the first time the organisation is conducting a ‘golden ticket’ themed competition, whereby candidates are required to complete a challenge designed by the PwC. The ‘top two performers’ will then be fast-tracked straight into Masterclass and automatically pass the face-to-face and online stages.

Winners of the golden tickets will be assessed both on an individual basis and working within a team with the task of investigating a cyber-attack on a fictional energy company. In real-time, individuals will have to uncover the root cause of the breach, how they can monitor and protect the client and report back on the findings.

According to reports, available prizes for participants include professional accreditation, a mix of university bursaries, professional accreditation, as well as professional internships and access to industry events.

Candidates should the competition before the final, which is due to be held on November 2-4, 2016 at an undisclosed location in London.
